One to One Home-Tuition

3A Tutors Ltd has provided specialist one-to-one home-tuition for students of all ages in Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Exeter, Reading and at many other locations across the UK for over 10 years. Tutors are available in all subjects and at all levels including SATS (Key Stages 1-4), Common Entrance (11+, 12+, 13+), GCSE, IGCSE, A/S, A2, Step, NVQ and University level tuition.

Appointing a fully-qualified specialist tutor to conduct regular one-to-one home tutorials is the most effective way for students of any age to improve their understanding, confidence and key skills in any subject and to prepare for those all-important examinations. Tutorials are directed towards meeting the individual needs of each student:  The tutor reacts to the specific needs of the student to build confidence, key skills and ability to answer examination questions successfully.

Most students arrange approximately a one-hour home-tutorial each week (Often arranged after school or at the weekend). Of course, if the student requires more intensive tuition then this should be discussed with the tutor once tuition has been commenced. All tutorial arrangements (duration, frequency, location etc) are made between the student and the tutor. Payment is simply passed to the tutor at the end of each tutorial. Ongoing tuition may be suspended or cancelled at any time without penalty.

We take great care to ensure that we appoint a tutor to meet the specific needs of the student although we recognise that on occasions the student and tutor do not ´gel´. In such instances we are always happy to appoint another tutor.

Quite simply, the tutor will work towards helping the student reach his or her full academic potential in the subject or subjects supported.

CRB Checks

Tutors registered with 3A Tutors are enhanced-CRB checked.

Small Group Tuition

Small-group tuition is offered in very many subjects and at very many levels at various locations across the UK. Small-group tuition is also available to groups of friends all wishing to receive tuition in a given subject.

Email/Telephone Support

We offer full support via email and telephone: student’s correspond directly with an experienced tutor who will advise them on ways to improve an assignment or set task.

Essay Support

We offer essay and dissertation support via email in all subjects and at all levels. This service is particularly useful for A/S, A2 and University level students who require assistance with their work: essay structure, sentence construction and overall content. Access to a fully qualified tutor via email allows for quality, unbiased feedback enabling the student to improve their work.

The fundamental principle to us at all times is that any work submitted by the student would be their own – our teachers/tutors would not under any circumstances complete any work (or any part of it) for the student – they would simply use their experience to give full academic feedback and support to the student.
